Fluency

Hello Family Members,

I have just completed a recent fluency 'test' for all students. I have a wide range of reading abilities in my class. Please read with your child every night. This will help each and every child reach grade level expectations by the end of the year.

On a good note; I have students who are reading over fifty words per minute right now.

On a bad note; I have students who are reading 2 words per minute now.

We ALL have our work cut out for us this year.
